The standard model has a claimed range of 315km with a 25kWh battery pack. The long-range model has a 35kWh battery pack with a 421km (MIDC) claimed range. The battery and motor pack are IP67-rated and also have a warranty of eight years or 1,60,000km.
The Tata Punch EV, the standard model, can be charged from a 7.2kW AC home wall box charger in 3.6 hours, 10-100% via a 3.3kW AC home wall box charger in 9.4 hours, and 15 A plug point in 9.4 hours. The battery can be drained by 10-80% in 56 minutes using a 50kW DC fast charger.
The Punch EV long-range takes 13.5 hours for a 10-100% charge via a 3.3kW AC home wall box charger. Also, a 15 A plug point and 5 hours for a similar charge via a 7.2kW AC home wall box charger. A 50kW DC fast charger makes a 10-80% charge possible in 56 minutes.

Tata Punch EV can clock 0-100 Kmph in just 9.5 seconds and gets a high speed electronically limited to 140 Kmph. The Punch EV offers two e-drive options: an 80 bhp,114 Nm torque version and a 120bhp, 190 Nm torque version. Both the options are permanent magnet non-synchronous motors.
